Founded in 1175, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia is the world’s third oldest University. With 20,000 students, including 3,500 postgraduates, UNIMORE prioritises innovative research addressing societal challenges. It fosters global interaction through 600+ international exchange agreements. UNIMORE contributes to 11 international research networks like EARPA, EFFRA, and euRobotics AISBL, alongside four national technological clusters. Specialising in transportation, logistics, automation, and optimisation research, UNIMORE actively participates in international and national projects, including Horizon Europe initiatives. Within ZEV-UP, UNIMORE brings expertise in user-centric studies, data analysis, socio-economic impacts, ensuring successful task execution through close collaboration within WP1, WP5 and WP6.
