Coşkunöz Kalıp Makina (CKM) is a large Turkish enterprise has domestic and foreign investments in the automotive, aviation, energy, defence and informatics sectors.
As the largest tool manufacturer in Turkey, CKM produce tools for the production of steel and aluminium body and structural parts for major automotive brands in Asia, Europe and Turkey with its 40 years of experience. Coşkunöz Holding produces chassis, modules (including battery casings and BTMS), BiW, closure parts for automotive industry.
CKM is listed in the “Top 250 Companies by R&D Expenditures” announced by the Turkish Time magazine. CKM is involved in different collaborative research and innovation projects including EUREKA, Horizon 2020, Horizon Europe and ERASMUS+. CKM R&D Center has over 70 full-time researchers to develop solutions for customers. CKM R&D serves its customers with 6 different subjects; product and process development, joining technologies, advanced manufacturing, additive manufacturing, forming technologies, I4.0 and digital transformation.
CKM will develop a scalable, lightwieght, cost efficient chassis utilising different conventional and advaced manufacturing technologies and also explore chassis and top head assembly in the project. This chassis platform will also contribute to modular and interchangeable battery pack business models.
