The ITS Congress is the key event for smart mobility and intelligent transport, bringing together industry leaders, policy makers, researchers, academics, and public authorities to showcase practical solutions, new technologies, and emerging innovations. Through high-level discussions, technical sessions, exhibitions, and live demonstrations, the ITS Congress illustrates how innovation is shaping safer, more efficient everyday mobility.

Organised by ZEV-UP Coordinator ERTICO, the 2026 edition, held under the theme Bridging Innovation: Integrated, safe and seamless mobility, is expected to welcome more than 3,000 participants, feature over 100 sessions, and host around 140 exhibitors.

ZEV-UP will be represented in SIS 10 “The Future of Inclusive European Mobility: Software-defined, interoperable, and smart” on Monday 27 April from 15:30 to 16:30 in room Ildiz 1. 

Two papers will be presented on Tuesday 28 April from 09:00 to 10:00 in room Emirgan 2 during TP4 “User-centric design & acceptability in emerging mobility modes“. The papers are titled “Positioning a New Generation of Compact BEVs: The ZEV-UP BEV for Urban Mobility” and “Cost–Environmental Trade-offs of Aluminium–ABS Lightweighting in L7e Battery Electric Vehicles”.

In addition, ZEV-UP is excited to be showcasing its four-seater demonstrator vehicle at the Ford Otosan stand (F16), as well as its demonstrator two-seater commercial vehicle in the demonstration area, with a teleoperation console at the ERTICO stand (F12).
