The ZEV-UP consortium recently convened in Guyancourt, Paris, on 29 and 30 January, for its third General Assembly, marking an important milestone in the project’s development. Hosted by our partner AKKODIS, the two-day meeting provided a platform to assess progress, discuss technical advancements, and refine strategic directions.
Advancing vehicle design and development
The first day was dedicated to technical discussions, with consortium members presenting exciting updates on the ZEV-UP vehicle’s design and development. Key aspects such as exterior and interior design, electric and electronic components, and mechanical systems were presented, ensuring that the vehicle aligns with our ambition to enhance user experience while proposing a frugal and affordable zero-emission vehicle. Partners also discussed technical testing and integration, setting the stage for the design verification phase. These efforts are crucial as we advance towards the finalisation of the ZEV-UP prototype in 2025. Stay tuned for more updates!
Strengthening communication and stakeholder engagement
The second day shifted focus to evaluation, communication, and dissemination activities. A highlight of the day was the inaugural meeting with the members of ZEV-UP External Expert Advisory Group, which provided a first opportunity to exchange with the consortium on the project’s developments and gather initial feedback. The meeting concluded with a discussion on innovation management, reinforcing the project’s commitment to fostering technological advancements in the electric mobility landscape.
A collective effort towards zero-emission urban transport
The third ZEV-UP General Assembly underscored the dedication of all partners in driving ZEV-UP’s mission forward. With continued collaboration, the project remains on track to deliver an innovative zero-emission vehicle tailored for urban environments.
